We all need a time out with our girls/boys, just to get a laugh or two with good company. can never go wrong with that. In the first panel the birds are separated by gender, one of the bird is screaming in excitement, the bird accompanying him doesn't look like there's not much excitement in his face. maybe he didn't exactly know how to come out with his news, it looks as if he is disappointed by having to hurt his feelings. but by the fourth panel he has to break out the news. that comes to shows that although friends will be there, they have their own lives as well.

By the first panel you can already figure out that there something sketchy. it's a temple and noone is answering and is disturb by the cat. By looking at how comfortable the cat  looks and after announcing he's being sleeping in the Kings bed, the other cat put in all together. The 6th-8th panels are dramatic close ups of their reactions when they put one & two together. in the last panel you can just see the excitement in their faces.
Im pretty sure every parent feels this way. it must be hard seeing you kids grow up, move out and have a life of their own. My mom for example, two of her kids are in college, one who has just started a family, one starting high school, and one who is always there for help yet but also has his own life. i wonder if she ever feel lonely. although, we all somehow try to be more closer and what not, we are all too closed off. maybe that's why when my mom's out she's social. a company is never a bad thing when you're feeling lonely.we all love each other, it shows through the slightest ways.

I found this week's comic to be a little funny, because it reminds me when I was little going around saying this over and over. The first panel included the rats and the otter, but for the second and third it closed up on the rats and the otter to create a dramatic effect. As if it were the climax to the story. The last panel zoomed out again to end the comic and because it wasn't as dramatic.

Root Salad
After rudely waking Charles up, he hands him a a chewed up bark. I mean what can Gil expect, of course he'll be cranky. you can just see by his face.. As we can see both of the characters seem to be on the same page because now they both arent having a good morning. in the first panel, Gil is looking at Charles with confusion because he's tearing out roots, then by the third  panel Gil expresses disappointment.

In this week's strip it starts of with a close up on Gilgamesh's eye, which goes back to last week's strip. In the second panel he is looking out in the mountain, this kind of made me think that this might have something to do with the man who died in the cave and was speaking of his "young son." Is he who he was speaking of? we'll have to find out. On the lower panels, he disturbingly wakes up Charles expecting him to cook breakfast for him. It's a little rude and disrespectful, but if this strip has anything to do with him being the "young son," maybe, just maybe he's learning to be a leader like his father.

Chapter 3, kicks off on a sad note as we can see. According to this, he didn't only let himself down, but the Host, his wife, and his little son. It's a little mood changing, especially the lat two panels because it's create a very sad tone. It seems that him letting his little son down, hurts him the most than any other person. Maybe because he couldn't set a good role model to him, or that he was too young and that he'll never get the chance to be role model. He knows that he's coming down to his counting days and instead of being bitter about something inevitable he acknowledges what he has and thinks positively about it. He also accepted that he can no longer go any further and rather than being selfish by slowing the host behind he stayed behind. Telling by these panels I actually believe that he's a well being.

This is comedy. It's really reminds me of my mommy. That is because when I'm home my mom constantly asks me to do things for her and if i don't  do this when and how she wants it she starts to bark. Im, if not all the time, mostly the one that's getting yelled at even if i do exactly what she says. But I refrain from talking back or fighting with my mom. I learned to be understanding of her, I've noticed how stressful it can get for her having to deal with her job, her health, with us, and just anything.  I try to stay out of her way. When i can i try to treat her with the littlest things. i miss my mom and her home cooked food.

I actually like this strip, because I can pretty much relate to bats. I use to think I suffered from insomnia but i later figured that i stayed up on my own, not because I couldn't sleep. Whether it's on a school day or summer vacation for some odd reason up i catch myself up till the peak of dawn. I have a fond memory of my sister and I staying up practically every night over summer break a couple years ago. Over break i spent weeks staying with her at Vegas and sometimes we would have movie nights, work out, or even wait till the morning and be the firsts to be in like for the Victoria's Secret sale.  We even agreed that we were like vampires -- we stay up all night then sleep till noon. And vampires are just like bats, right ?

This is pretty humorous because something just like this happens with humans. More specifically couples. In the first panel the momma bird is excited that they can finally have their personal time together now that the baby birds are sleeping, but it turns out poppa bird has plans, but as always the wife or momma bird gets her way. It's quite funny because men act tough, or like they are "the boss" but in no time and not much effort they give in.

The picture above is from The Abominable Charles Christopher comic blog. I thought that the panels on the second row are what my teacher wanted tatted on him. Not necessarily all panels. The reason why I picked this specific one is because from what i've seen from my teacher, he likes being dominant (apparently because he's a teacher), and the tentacles coming from the lion's mouth causes confusion which is the same as when he explains something to the class it confuses us instead. My guess is probably way off, but I took what I know of him and ill test my luck and say that this he wants this tatted on him.
